TAYSP is offering a unique educational program “Yoga Therapy for The Spine”.

This course includes studies of foundations of anatomy in the context of most common pathologies* of the spine as well as studies and implementation of influential methods for healing and support of the spinal health in the tradition of Dhirendra Brahmachari (1924-1994).

Dhirendra Brahmachary is one of the most outstanding yoga teachers of 20 century who was offering a structured and detailed system of yoga therapy.

His methods are highly efficient in terms of health support and healing.

The program is open for everyone, no prior experience in any yoga practice is required for registration.

People of any age and physical condition will benefit from this course.

During the course we will learn following subjects:
Anatomy of the spinal column, structure, functioning, bones, muscles, tendons, interosseal tissues, joints, supporting-motor apparatus.

We will also learn the causes of issues of the spine of any character.
We will study Yoga Therapy Sequence for all levels of strength and flexibility. This sequence can be used by the healthy people just to prevent issues and stay healthy and can be used by people with health issues as a healing program.

Also we will learn rehabilitation sequence – Interval Workouts with all details and alignment of the postures.

We will take our time to explore all existing pathologies* of the spinal column, structure, functioning of all elements.

We will learn Yoga Therapy as a method, influential methods, rehabilitation, contraindications for the above pathologies.

Upon completion of the course you will have a clear understanding of anatomy process within the body specifically the structure and functions of the spinal column.

You will learn and practice the unique sequence of exercises and yoga poses which is ver efficient to keep the spine in a healthy condition, prevent ailments and heal some of most common pathologies*

Leading teacher: Rich Nataraja

Rich has a qualification of doctor majoring in “Medical care”, practicing Yoga Therapist, Su Jok specialist and Reiki Master, leading instructor of Yoga Teacher Training Course where he covers anatomy, body kinesiology, master of body adjustment, herbalist, he creates and supervises a number of detox and yoga therapy programs at The Yoga Shala Phuket over many years.

The fee includes accommodation, breakfast, classes and trainings.

All fees are non refundable. A student can transfer from one course to another at least one month before the start of that course to attend another. After this time fees are forfeited.
